Prerequisites: ENGL 216; SPAN 243. This course is a historical study of some major literary works from Spain and Spanish America as presented in short story, novel, drama, poetry, and essay. Special emphasis given to political impact, social context, and individual characteristics of literary works chosen. This course will be conducted entirely in Spanish and will focus on active speaking, reading, text analysis, and writing.
