Prerequisites: TN RN Licensure; NRSG 322, 328, 340. A course that provides an opportunity for the student to develop leadership and management skills. This is accomplished primarily through leadership, models, management, and administrative experiences in selected clinical settings. Emphasis is placed on the role of the nurse manager in assuring quality of care to individuals and families in primary, secondary, and tertiary care settings. In order to meet the objectives of the course, a field trip may be required. Lab fee 5 will be assessed for this course.
