Prerequisite: GRMN 102 or approval of the department. Continued emphasis on development of listening and speaking skills. There is, however, an increased emphasis on reading and writing skills through short selections in German. Laboratory work is required. Students may get credit by passing a "challenge examination"with a B grade. For information on the examination, students should refer to SAU Catalog (p. 44) and/or Modern Languages faculty for details. Those students who have any background in German must seek departmental permission to enroll in any German course other than GRMN 101. (Fall)
