ENGL 414 - Advanced Creative Writing

Prerequisites: ENGL 314 and approval of the instructor. A course designed to refine the skills of experienced creative writers who plan to publish their work. Students wishing to enroll will submit a collection of their finished writings and a proposal outlining their persona goals for the semester; students will be accepted only on the approval of the instructor. Reading assignments will be designed to match the needs of each student. In order to enrich the workshop environment for both groups, class will meet with ENGL 314. Instruction will include marketing strategies and manuscript format. This class is not available for audit. (Winter)
