Prerequisite: BIOL 101 or permission of instructor. A study of the principles of microbiology, disinfection, sterilization, elementary immunology, and microorganisms emphasizing their relationship to health and disease. Three lectures and two one and one-half hour laboratory periods each week. Does not apply on a major or minor in Biology. Lab fee 5 will be charged for this course.
