Prerequisite: Senior standing. A study of the scientific, philosophical and religious basis of modern science as it relates to issues in origins and speciation. The course will involve a comparison of the data related to various theories on the origin and history of living organisms based upon current knowledge in biology, paleontology, genetics, and other related areas. Special consideration will be given to Christian perspectives of the issues discussed. Recommended for the junior year. Three lectures each week. (Fall)
