Prerequisite: ARTG 138. A foundation course that explores both the creative process and the production concerns of making images for visual communication. By focusing on methodologies for ideation and conceptualization, the development of craft in concept rendering, and the production of finished compositions incorporating traditional and digital media, students will practice both the conceptual thinking and mechanical skills needed to achieve consistently effective design solutions. Lab fee 12 will be assessed for this course.
