Fall semester. 3 semester hours. The purpose of this course is to promote understanding of psychological theory, research, and intervention strategies in psychology of physical activity and exercise. In studying both theory and practice, students are expected to develop their own views and ideas within the realm of their chosen field. The exchange and development of ideas is encouraged and at the same time grounded in the current knowledge base in this field. Students are expected to undertake extensive reviews within various health fields. Prerequisite: PSY101.
