Fall and spring Semesters. 1 semester hour. This course provides practical field experience in an elementary classroom. Each credit hour requires 40 hours of experience. Students are required to take an active part in classroom activities by teaching a minimum of two full lessons. Students must complete the practicum during the fall or spring semester over a period of between 10-14 weeks. Prerequisites: admission to the teacher education program. Junior standing is required.
