Specific topics include genetics, evolution, ecology, metabolism, and the cell. The laboratory emphasizes the process of scientific investigation, including the design, conduct, analysis, and presentation of biological experiments. This course is appropriate for non-biology majors and does not count toward a major or minor in biology.
