A study of Spanish peninsular literature from the Middle Ages to the 20th Century. Selected works from prose narrative, poetry, theater, and essay. Introduction to analysis of literary texts. Given in Spanish. Prerequisite: SPAN 231 and 241 or department permission. Partially satisfies the AOK requirement for Literature and Art. Not open to students who have completed SPAN 251.
