Did women have a Renaissance? Have the great events and movements of European history affected women in the same ways as men? Were women too busy giving birth and caring for children and homes to have a role in, or an effect on, European history? In this course we will survey Europe from the Middle Ages to the present to answer these questions and discover women's place in European history. Same as HIST 250. Offered alternate years.
