This course serves as an introduction to the fundamentals of sound recording and production. Students will study the properties of sound, analogue and digital recording, and use of microphones. Students will be engaged in hands-on recording projects and the creation of multi-track recordings. Instruction in Protools and other digital software is included. Prerequisite:MUSC 110 andMUSC 111 or permission of instructor. Three hours. Staff.
