This course investigates the connections between the Buddhist concept of Zen and the notion of creativity commonly used by visual and conceptual artists. Students study meditation techniques and other physical/mental strategies to accomplish artistic and expressive work. Includes trip to Zen Mountain Monastery in upstate NewYork.
