Fall semester. 2 semester hours. All aspects of being a therapeutic riding instructor, including teaching to the appropriate therapeutic level of a student's physical and cognitive abilities, the precautions and contra-indications to therapeutic riding, therapy student assessment and program development, and facility and therapy horse management. Students will organize and teach lessons, assign students to horses and volunteers, and maintain progress notes. Prerequisites: PEH122, EQS100, EQS209.
