Prerequisite: PSYC-1113. An experiential, discussion-oriented course which has a twofold purpose. First, it will introduce the student to the major issues within the field of clinical psychology. Secondly, students will discuss and practice counseling techniques and strategies in class. Focus will be placed on understanding and appreciating the complexity of helping others in a counseling relationship.
