Prerequisites: ENGR-2523, ENGR-2623, and MATH- 3013. Mathematical modeling for dynamic response of electrical, mechanical, fluid and thermal systems. Introduction to control systems. System response characteristics are investigated by use of state variable theory, time domain and frequency response analysis, root locus and Nyquist stability criteria. Design of mechanical engineering control systems. Lecture - 3 hours.
