Prerequisites: BIOL-2013, BIOL-2523 and CHEM- 1104 Course focuses on the nursing process and how clinical diagnosis is performed. Students will learn to assess the client's physical, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions as a foundation to nursing care. The skills of interviewing, documentation, inspection, percussion, palpation, and auscultation are refined to make clinical judgments and promote health client outcomes. Lecture - 2 hours; Clinical -1 hour.
