Prerequisite: SDEV-0103 or a math ACT score of 23 or higher. Designed to give the liberal arts student a comprehensive overview of the applications of mathematics in today's society with an emphasis on problem-solving skills. Special attention will be given to the role of mathematics. Topics will include set theory, logic, probability, systems of numeration and number theory.
