Prerequisites: ENGL-1123 grade of C or above, GPA - 2.65. Corequisite: concurrent enrollment in EDUC-3121. Prospective candidates will be able to explain the role and contributions of education in a democratic society and to state their personal philosophies of education. Emphasis is placed on history, philosophies and current trends. Course must be completed with a grade of C or better to gain admission to teacher education.
