Prerequisites: admission to student teaching; Overall GPA 2.75, Major GPA 3.0 Corequisites: concurrent enrollment EDUC-4013 and student teaching. Candidates demonstrate skill in communicating with students, parents, colleagues, and others in the school community. Emphasis is placed on the role of the teaching profession in curriculum change and school improvement. Candidates will refine skills for planning effective units of instruction and daily lessons and in assessing student learning.
