Prerequisites: admission to teacher education; MATH-2913. Corequisites: concurrent enrollment in ELEM-3333, ELEM-3632, ELEM-3832; ELEM-3900P. Candidates will apply their knowledge of numeration and their number sense and will be able to use manipulatives in teaching primary students number concepts and basic problem-solving skills. Content emphasis is placed on teaching the four basic mathematical operations.
