Topics include PC hardware and software, the DOS and Windows environments, GUI interface, memory management and use of common PC devices (hard disks, CDROM, sound cards, etc.). A relational database is utilized in software development. This course includes laboratory experiences. Lecture - 2 hours; Laboratory - 2 hours.
