Prerequisite: BIOL-1314 and BIOL-2114 or BIOL- 3115 with a grade of C or better. A study of the human organism. Emphasis is given to the normal function, regulatory mechanisms and coordination of the neuromuscular, cardiovascular, excretory, digestive, respiratory, endocrine, and reproductive systems. Lab experience includes use of the physiograph to demonstrate ECG and EMG, blood counting and identification, spirometry, and CPR training. Lecture - 3 hours; Laboratory - 3hours.
