6, 12 hrs. Fifteen (15) weeks of student teaching in a chartered school in middle childhood classrooms (4-9) in one or both areas of concentration under the supervision of cooperating teachers and a college supervisor. Prerequisite: Department approval. ALL education coursework and content-area coursework must be completed prior to student teaching. Formal application made one semester prior to student teaching.
