An intermediate course which further develops electronic communications with emphasis on Internet resources, Telnet and e-mail; issues of productivity and interactive technologies; evaluation of software programs. Emphasis is placed on the integration of technology across the P - 12 curriculum. Guidelines for selecting Internet services and pertinent educational sites on the Internet. Additional use of assistive technology for students with special needs. Overview of more advanced troubleshooting such as extension conflicts, upgrades, reinstallation of system software. Prerequisites: IS 220 or placement.
