provides a survey of research literature surrounding the emergent concept of interactivity in mediated environments. Students will develop awareness of the opportunities and complexities that interactive potential can do to traditional media designs. Emphasis will be placed on identifying and meeting the needs of the end-user when developing interactive experiences. Students will have the opportunity to use multimedia software applications to present their designs. Prerequisite: DMD 300
