involves comprehensive literature research on a chemistry-related topic of the student's choice, and writing of a detailed report on the findings. The course also features oral presentations, as well as the writing of a research proposal on the same topic researched in the literature. In addition, students are required to attend seminars by visiting scientists, organized by the department. Grading considerations are the thoroughness of the library work, quality of the research report and research proposal, effectiveness of presentations, participation, and attendance.
