is a foundation course which is intended to be completed in the freshman year (or initial year of study) for the Art major. The course introduces the fundamentals of three dimensional compositions for the visual arts. The course is designed to increase visual perception and provide technical skills with fundamental three dimensional problems. Aportion of the course provides experience with the use of tools and materials required in fabrication of three dimensional mediums of wood, paper, wire, clay, metals, and new technologies, while a portion of the course focuses on design using traditional and computer related tools.
