An overview of recreational strategies and activities within a church's framework, from traditional organized competitive sports to the less structured, noncompetitive recreational opportunities offered within the context of educational ministries. Emphasis is placed on the philosophy of ministry as ministry within the body of Christ to the whole person. Prerequisite or corequisite for Christian education majors and minors: CED2043 or CED3003. Open to non-majors.
