This course is designed to improve students' knowledge of the basics of Spanish grammar and their ability to apply this knowledge in oral and written exercises. It centers on the various lexical categories and on their syntactic functions in phrases and simple sentences. Attention is given to the linguistic and communicative needs of both native and non-native speakers of Spanish. Taught in Spanish. 3 hours lecture.
