For students who have completed Elementary Portuguese I at Montclair State University, who have had two years of Portuguese in high school, or who have been placed at this level after taking the placement exam. The strengthening of listening comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing skills through task-based oriented activities, video cassettes/DVDs, audio cassettes/CDs and laboratory work. Meets the 1983 General Education Requirement (GER) - Foreign Language. Meets the World Languages and Cultures Requirement - World Languages. 3 hours lecture.
