College: COLLEGE OF SCIENCE AND MATHEMATICS Department: MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES Credits: 3.00 Selected Topics in Contemporary History of Science. A study which will consider the most important discoveries of the twentieth century that are changing our world and the events leading to the inventions. These concepts will be related to twentieth century idealism, materialism, and ideas of progress. No prior knowledge of science of mathematics is assumed and the course could be used as a sequential to PHYS 104 History of Science. 3 hours lecture.
