How drugs interact with, and influence biochemical pathways relevant to disease in the whole organism. Topics covered in this course deal with a review of fundamental concepts in biochemisty relevant to drug discovery, the process of drug discovery and specific examples of drug interactions with biochemical pathways and how they impact human disease. 3 hours lecture.
