Prerequisites: Shorthand proficiency required; admission to the Teacher Education program. Corequisites: BSED 403. Special Fee. Taken in conjunction with methods of teaching shorthand. The transcription of shorthand notes into typewritten copy. Sentence structure, correct grammar, spelling and good typewriting techniques: increasing dictation speed for new material as the course progresses. 2 hours lecture.
