This course will provide an examination of the field of Public Child Welfare, its historical roots and the contemporary systems that have evolved to serve the needs of children at risk. This course will provide an in depth study of provisions made to respond to the needs of children, youth, and families for whom protection and advocacy are required to ensure their survival and quality of life. 3 hours lecture.
