Phylogenetic Zoology is a comprehensive survey of evolutionary zoology. The focus of the course is on the ecological and evolutionary processes that shape the natural histories of aquatic and terrestrial animals. Integrated lecture and laboratory investigations will explore the anatomy, physiology, diversity, ecology and evolutionary significance of animal clades. This course is designed to fulfill major elective requirements of the biology major. 3 hours lecture, 2 hours lab.
