This course provides students with the knowledge of how to apply anthropological concepts to the practical world of international business, diplomacy and service. It focuses on the integration of verbal and non-verbal communication, as well as on cultural and personal values in the context of differences (rather than similarities) between members of different countries/cultures. Emphasis is placed on educating students on how to interact and communicate in new cultural and/or international settings. 3 hours lecture.
