1 hour. This course promotes active learning of the student's primary or secondary instrument in a private one-on-one format. Students will work on technique, tone, phrasing, and overall musicality, along with any idiosyncrasies with the given instrument. Students will learn scales and technique pieces as well as solos and other prominent pieces written for their instrument. Students will also gain experience through listening examples and writings featuring their instrument. Prerequisite: permission of instructor. Fall. Spring.
