This course will focus on the work of the public relations practitioner as a communications specialist. Topics include the techniques of effective public relations and the demands of the field. Students will explore how segments of the public form opinions and how public relations should influence the public. Students also write press releases, radio and television announcements, and examine case studies. Prerequisite: COMR 373. Three Hours, Spring, Even Years
