This course, which satisfies the general education requirement in oral communications, is designed specifically for students who use English as a second language. Both informative and persuasive speeches will be covered. Students will work on their voice and diction as well as studying the nature of communication, nonverbal communication, topic research, outlining, listening skills, ethics and audience analysis.
