Includes Mende- lian, cytogenetic, bacterial, and molecular approaches to questions about the nature and function of genetic material. Laboratory component consists of investigative experiences in Mendelian and molecular genetics. Prerequisite: BIOL 1000 and either BIOL 1010 or BIOL 1020.
