Explores and defines techniques to enhance a seamless integration of verbal and nonverbal communication focusing on the basics of body coordination, alignment, gesture, space, plasticity, and rhythm. Students seek inspiration from literature, music, painting, and photography as it pertains to the actor's presence on stage to enhance and ignite storytelling. This course includes mask work and the development of solo and ensemble performance pieces.
