CATALOG COURSE DESCRIPTION: Examination of basic concepts of advanced pharmacy calculation: manipulating decimals, percentages, ratios, proportions, fractions, Roman numerals, the metric system, the avoirdupois system, the apothecary system, measurement conversion,algebraicequations for calculating oral doses, parenteral dosages, dosages measured in units, calculations of intravenous flow rates and pediatric and elderly dosages.
