This course represents an overview of the influence of computer and other instructional technology on formal learning and teaching. Attention will be given to historical, social, and psychological perspectives on media and technology, followed by current research affecting learning and instruction. Students will identify a specific area of interest related to instructional technology and pursue an independent project.
