3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: ENG 112 This course studies child development from birth through adolescence. Included will be an investigation of major theories and research strategies for examining development. In addition, the course examines the impact of context and culture, the joint contributions of biology and environment, and the sense of interdependency of all domains of development-physical, cognitive, emotional, and social. Field experience required.
