3 Credit Hours Prerequisites: ENG 112, ACC 215 This course describes the theory and practice of corporate finance. Topics include valuation of equity and debt, risk and return, practical problems in capital budgeting, financing decisions and market efficiency, dividend policy and capital structure, long-term financial planning and short-term working capital management. Guided by the principle of the priority of labor over capital, the emphasis of the course is the practical application of finance theory to both strategic and tactical corporate decisions.
