3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: MAT 121 or equivalent This course is concerned with the economic behavior of individual persons, firms and industries and the distribution of production and income among them. It introduces and critiques neoclassical economics and other economic models as mechanisms for allocating society's limited resources among their many alternative uses. The human person, as the supplier of labor and the consumer of the final product, is distinguished from all other factors of production.
