3 hours, 3 credits. ( Evening and Saturday only.)Study of pronunciation and the elements of Italian grammar, reading of simple modern texts, and oral practice. PREREQ: ITA 106. Note: ITA 108 is not open to students who have completed ITA 102. Completion of ITA 108 satisfies the foreign language requirement. Students planning future work in Italian language or literature must take ITA 201 and/or 202.
