9 hours (8 in the field; 1, weekly conference), 3 credits (maximum 6 credits). Individual field experience with various media, coordinated by the Program Director. The course will include working 8 hours a week with a chosen media outlet, plus one-hour weekly seminar meetings with the Director and other internship students. A journal and a final research paper will be required. PREREQ: 18 credits from the program major and permission of the Program Director.
